 Biographies
We met at Manchester University, where we were both reading Russian Studies.
When we graduated in 1989, we moved together to Watford (North-West of London) with Hugh, Henry and Olivia, Gisela's three children.
Gisela went to work for the Inland Revenue as a Tax Inspector where she stayed for ten years, before escaping to retrain as a secondary school teacher (of English) in 1999.
George, our son, was born in 1992 and we married 2 years later. It was a lovely wedding, very much a family affair. (See some wedding photographs here.)
Gisela now works at a local secondary school.
On leaving university, Chris went to work at Grand Metropolitan as a Capacity Planner, and then moved to Thames Water as a Systems Analyst. Since then he has worked as a Network Engineer, firstly in OS/2, then Windows NT and now in Cisco. He has several IT certifications.

Chris likes messing with his computer (guess who wrote this!), amateur radio and listening to Classical Music and Jazz.
Gisela likes Classical Music, Reading, Frasier and other good sitcoms.
We both love going on holiday and spend a fair amount of time in France. We would like to retire to the French Alps. (This photograph comes from one of our holidays).
